Nikon Coolpix L20 - Check out the ‘Cool’ factor!

Introduction:

The L20 of the Nikon series offers its users an option to own a Digital Camera with excellent features for a highly affordable price. This device carries the bells and whistles of any big camera without really degrading its overall performance and can be used even by the beginners without any hassles.

Features:

One of the usual drawbacks of entry-level cameras is that they fail miserably in low light environment. To overcome that obstacle, the L20 features D-Lighting technology which will augment the light as and when needed while shooting in a dark environment. Besides, there is also the problem of blurring and fringing that haunts many of our photos. To combat this, the L20 sports a Motion detection feature that will identify the subject and manipulate the other settings accordingly. You need not wait for your kid to smile anymore. Leave the Smile Mode on and the camera will instantly capture your baby’s precious smiles for you. And the Blink Warning feature will warn you whenever the targeted person is blinking.

Pros:

• The 3.0 inch High-Resolution LCD comes equipped with an anti-reflection feature that allows you to enjoy great viewing even in brightly-lit environments. An entry-level camera housing such huge LCD is phenomenal and the Nikon has pulled its trick with great dexterity.
• Prints as big as 16 x 20 inches can be made easily as this camera comes studded with a 10.0 megapixels resolution. You can not only blow up the size of your pictures but do some cropping and pruning as well.
• Nikon strives to render pictures that are not only colorful and clear but look natural as well. For this, the camera relies on its EXPEED Image Processor that adjusts and ensures that the real essence of the picture remains in tact.

Cons:

• Insufficient internal memory and optical zoom.
• There is no image stabilization feature in this camera.
• The LCD is of low resolution and doesn’t offer clear view to the user while composing and reviewing the shots.

Pricing Range: Make this cool camera yours by paying just 96$-119$ in Red!

Final Verdict:  The quality and functionality of the Nikon L20 is on par with the bigger brands and even surprises us with its superior performance in some aspects which is usually not found in entry-level digital cameras. With less deal breakers to mention, the Nikon Coolpix L20 would prove to be an ideal camera for photography-lovers!
